THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1998 and is fully equipped with amenities for the benefit of the students. All the software used is latest. There are 3 computer labs consisting 170 PC’s with Internet facility, which can be utilized by the students for the preparation of projects, seminar presentations and for various academic activities. The lab has good ambience for learning. The department has highly qualified faculty to help and assist the students to perform better and excel in all spheres of life. The faculty members work with commitment and dedication for the well being of the students.

 

Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course in Computer Science, students will be able to:-

• To demonstrate proficiency and problem solving technique using computers.

• To demonstrate proficiency in at least two high level programming languages.

• To enable students use oral and communication skills to convey technical information effectively and accurately.

• To help students use their interpersonal skills while working in a team environment

• To deepen the knowledge of recent trends in information and technology
